How to make handling safe control weights play?

Load testing involves handling heavy weights. The design of the test weight set and its accessories therefore plays a key role in making operations safe. OSC has built its systems around several active and passive safety principles.

Secure stacking

The feet of OSC control weights interlock when stacked, preventing lateral and longitudinal movement and limiting the risk of slipping.

A stack held together

The locking system holds the weights together. The through-going lifting rod creates a mechanical connection between the bottom and top weights of the stack.

Add or remove weights safely

On the relevant solutions, the patented OSC system lets you add or remove weights from a suspended load through their central slot, without having to detach the lifting rod.

Fewer preparation errors

Each weight is identified by its mass and a color code, making it easy to recognize when building the set and limiting the risk of stacking errors.

Additional accessories, such as protective pads, can also protect the floors of test and storage areas.
